Sister Stamps Release #22 - Graduate

It's that time of the month again and Sister Stamps has some special images just for you! Graduation is just around the corner so today, I'm featuring the graduate! I love this little one who represents our culture and tradition of lei giving here in Hawaii. I remember my high school graduation and the mountain of leis I received just like this image. They were piled so high, you could barely see my face among all the beautiful flowers!
I created a modified lei to give kids for preschool or elementary school graduations. (My son was sleeping when I took this photo so my husband was my model).  I took a plastic luggage tag holder and made a tag using this image. I slipped the colored image into the plastic sleeve and got a lanyard with both a clip and cording.  I attached the lanyard to the tag with the snap closure and attached a  snack to the lei using the clip. I used taro chips here but you could use any snack size packaged goodie. The cording makes this gift into a lei and this project can be done pretty quickly and inexpensively!
Here's a close-up of the adorable graduate!

Be sure to check out the others and their great projects and I'll be back tomorrow with more!
